Sunkist is a global brand that provides most of the world’s oranges and citrus fruits, with its positioning closely associated with freshness and quality.
Proudly bringing the best citrus from California to the local market, Sunkist Hong Kong aims to connect with a younger audience while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Despite its strong reputation, Sunkist faced the challenge of standing out in a crowded social media landscape. With numerous brands vying for attention, the goal was to create an engaging social media presence that reflects Sunkist’s values of growth, quality, and environmental responsibility
Challenge
We aimed to resonate with a younger demographic with millennials and GenZ while effectively showcasing the freshness and versatility of Sunkist products.
Solution
We created content based on Sunkist's content pillars, incorporating trend-jacking, interactive posts, and recipe showcases. This approach allowed us to effectively engage with the audience, and promoted further brand awareness, while spreading knowledge about Sunkist's diverse citrus line and highlighting seasonal recipes/citruses
My role involved all the design and animation work for these initiatives, as well as active contributions to the ideation and brainstorming process each month for their posts.
Implementation & Results
The implementation of Sunkist Hong Kong's always-on content has been rolled out across various social media platforms, utilizing engaging narratives through trend-jacking, interactive posts, and seasonal recipe showcases.
As a result, several posts have reached hundreds of thousands of impressions, significantly boosting brand visibility and connecting Sunkist with a wider audience.
