GAIUS KWONG

Hey, I'm Gaius (Guy-us). I'm an art director at TBWA. Grew up between Hong Kong, Toronto, and Melbourne, which means I say "sorry" three different ways, and somehow ended up back where I started.

I started out as a designer and made the jump to art direction because I didn't just want to make things look good, I wanted to decide why they look good. I've worked on campaigns for Starbucks, KFC, and Tamjai International, and so far picked up a Young Kam Fan award at 22. I like ideas that are simple enough to explain to your Asian parents but interesting enough that they'd actually remember them.

When I'm not at the agency, I'm probably on the ice. I've played for Hong Kong's national ice hockey team since I was 16. Yes, Hong Kong has a hockey team.
